Veteran's Day
I know this post is late, but I still want to include it for journaling reasons... On Veteran's Day, our family, my brother Dave's family, and my little brother Travis all went out to Ash Creek and had a little campout. (without the sleepover!) My girls brought some friends too. We roasted marshmellows, had hotdogs, and snacks, played catch, and just lounged around. It was a fun day!

I'm the luckiest girl in the world!
My awesome brother Dave got a new camera and took these pictures for us! He took a lot more than this, but I am going to use one of them for my Christmas card and I haven't decided which one! I love them all. As I looked through them I just couldn't quit smiling! I really feel like the luckiest person in the world. I love my sweet Layton and beautiful girls! Life is good! (Thanks Dave for capturing our feelings on camera! :) )

Christmas Idea!
One of my good friend is selling these awesome nail polish kits. They have 8 colors in one kit and a pen on one side to do detail work! I think they would make such cute stocking stuffers! If you have daughters, sisters, grandparents, or nieces that like to do their nails (in all those different colors with cute little hearts and flowers on them) then these pens are great for that. Check out the web site and the demo to see what I am talking about.....Http://nailartmagic.com/
She is selling the pens for $20 and it costs her around $2 for shipping. Once you receive them you can register them with the company and that allows you to send your pens back to the company whenever they are empty or broken, and they will replace them for the cost of shipping...It is $4.95. Or, you can just refill the bottles with your own favorite nail polish.
If you are interested just let me know! I ordered some and can't wait to try them! My girls are going to love them!

our weekend!
Another visit to the Gilbert area.. I love to go, but hate that I never have enought time to get everything done! I would love to have enough time to catch up (go to lunch) with each of my friends there, go shopping to all the stores I can't go to here (which is about every store), and eat at all the places we miss! ... but we still had a good time!
My girls have wanted to be cheerleaders ever since we started going to Summer's games. It was way before Maci came along. The two cheer outfits used to be for Haylee and Hanna.. now Haylee is way to big!
FRIDAY... we went to the temple. Our good friends the Farnsworth's watched our kids. Wayne and I were doing sealings. (we haven't done them forever!) It was such a wonderful experience. I love being in that Holy place and looking at my sweet husband and remembering that day 8 yrs. ago when we were married! What a happy day. I couldn't help but keep smiling at him and thinking "I'm a lucky girl!!" I was so thankful we made time for the temple.
After the temple we went to the Basha High school ft. ball game where SUMMER Farnsworth was cheering. Years ago, my awesome sister made my girls outfits to match Summer's. Everytime they wear it to one of her games.. they get a lot of attention! Look how cute they are!!
NEXT.. we rushed over to the end of Wayne's nephews game. Wayne loves to be at his games. JD is so cute and such a great kid! He really impresses me and I hope one day I can have a boy as great as him!
SATURDAY.... Layton "fall/halloween" party! There was not a weekend before Halloween that it worked for us to get together.. so we had our annual party last weekend at David and Joanna's house. It is always fun, but I thought this year was especially great!
We had a bouncer....
Lots of sweet girls!
A GREAT dinner.. food is always good with the Laytons!
My girls LOVE to get re-acquainted with cousins!
Then.. we split in to groups and went to different booths (ran by the women).. this was the HUMAN TARGET SHOOTING booth
Hot Potato (I mean pumpkin)
FACE PAINTING... by me and Amber
Kessa and Maci.. so cute! (they are 4 months apart!)
Always basketball!
Who is the great artist you ask??? :)
The highlight of the night! CHUB RABBIT! This has been a tradition since Wayne was a boy.. His grandma made up this character, and he comes to every Halloween party with treats out of his garden.. This was the first year my kids weren't afraid of him!
NEXT.. we roasted marshmellows and made smores!
Other great pics....
All the men in the family! Sorry girls, but my hubby has got to be the cutest! :) ( The Layton men all make fun to me because of the way I always brag about Wayne!)
All the women! I am so lucky to have married in to such an awesome family. I can honestly say all of these girls are my great friends! I love to get together and catch up and learn from them.. They are all amazing moms!
LAST... Sleepover ast Grandma's and Pop's... Our family, and Brad and Amber's family are the only one's who live out of town. We boths stayed at Mom and Pop's and our girls had so much fun sleeping together! We have a lot of fun memories with Brad and Amber and Annie when we all lived in the townhomes. It is fun for our girls to get to know eachother again!!

Halloween FuN!!
Presenting our very own....
Cheerleader..... Hannah Montana...... and Ballerina

Maci and her favorite cousin/friend.... Addy
Haylee originally picked this witch costume.. she wore it in the school parade, and then changed her mind for the evening carnival... She looked cute in both costumes!
School Carnival
All the Palmer cousins that live in town...
Fish pond...
Petting the cute baby goats

We only trick or treated to one house (they got enough candy at the carnival).. The girls loved showing off their costumes to Steven and Kami!
I know.. hillarious! We were invited to a murder mystery party and of course I said yes... WELL Wayne was not excited at all. This is SO far out of his comfort zone. It was a scene based off of the show "the OFFICE". Neither of us were character from the show, just visiting for the work party. Here were our character decriptions:
Cheerleader..... Hannah Montana...... and Ballerina
School Parade
School Carnival
TRICK OR TREAT!
MURDER MYSTERY PARTY!!!
Katy: handbag saleswoman, attractive clothes, tight skirt, boots, fancy hair, very vain! (thanks so my friend Sharlie for helping me get all decked out!)
Milton: Nerdy, speaks under your breath, always looking down, unsure of yourself, very skittish
Luckily no one else knew your role, and their wasn't a script, so we just played it by ear. Wayne was a great sport and it was a lot of fun! Neither of us were made for acting. But it was a great group and fun storyline! Here is our group...
