Random...

Date NIGHT
Wayne and I told the girls were were taking them out on a date one Friday night and they ran and dressed themselves up. They thought it was a pretty special event... (they even put dresses on.. I don't know why, beause I never go on dates looking that cute! :) eating at one of our favorite places... La Casita
Many Faces of MACI
One afternoon I couldn't find Maci (which normally means she is in to trouble!) and I sent the girls to look, and this is what we found!
Maci loves to dress up and play "house".. She always tells me, "let's play house, I the mom and you the kid!"
Just another day...
GYMNASTICS!
Haylee has been in gymnastics for about a year and a half and I kept asking Hanna if she wanted to start. Well finally she got the courage up to go and LOVES it! She is in Haylee's class and asks almost every day how much longer until she gets to go to gymnastics again! :)
MATCHING PJs I used to hate when my mom made me match my sister all the time, but my girls don't seem to mind still! I got these pjs for $3 each at Walmart and they are High School Musical.. so of course my girls love them!
ADDIE AND MACI

These two are TROUBLE! but the cutest friends in the world. They are 2 months apart, and they are cousins. Not a day goes by that they don't talk about eachother, or play with eachother. Once someone called them angels.. and Wayne said "Satan's Angel's"... They always find some mess to make, or something to dump out, or color on... but they are so fuN!

V-Day

Wanted to get these all on my blog... even if it is almost a month late!
Hanna ready for her preschool party
Wayne and I going out on V-Day
Tony's kitchen with Tom, Suzanna, Dave, Tia, Shane, Meghan, Johnny, Jay, Aubrey, Steven, Kami, and Travis...
A familiar scene at our house.. all our girls love to snuggle Wayne... including me!
V-day breakfast.. pink pancakes, strawberries, carmel syrup, and pink milk
Haylee's treat for her class... jello jigglers... it was a lot cuter before the whip cream melted!
Chocolate dipped strawberries for visiting teaching ladies and my girl's teachers
Our home-made crayons.. we have this tradition to make these every year. The girls love to give them to their classes!
The beautiful tulips that Layton gave me! So sweet... He's normally not a gift person, so it meant a lot!

It's true! We are actually finally going to get a boy! :) We are all so so excited about it! All was well in the sonogram. The only place I went shopping in the valley after my apts. was Costco. Since they don't have a huge selection of clothes, I only got one thing... Here is our little boys first outfit! :)

Our last couple of weeks.....

We have had a crazy couple of weeks that I am SO glad are over! It all started 2 weeks ago on Sunday, Hanna got a fever. On Monday we went to the Dr. and he said it sounded like pneumonia. He gave her a shot and wanted to see her back on Tuesday. Her oxygen has dropped on Tuesday and she didn't sound any better, so...... Hanna was admitted in the hospital! (She had RSV as a baby and now gets sick every winter, but not this bad).
Hanna was pretty miserable when they admitted her and they immediately gave her an IV. (She didn't even cry! The nurses were shocked!). She started breathing treatments, and oxygen right away also. Grandma Palmer was quick to bring a milkshake and some treats!
Most of my pictures of Hanna are of her being grumpy. She was obviously miserable and sick of the hospital. But I bought her some new polly pockets.. and finally saw a smile!
Wayne's brother Brad, and his wife Amber, and their 3 kids are in town for residency (He is a 3rd yr. medical student). We got to see Brad everyday in the hospital. Amber was so helpful with my other kids. This was one dinner when we rolled Hanna in her wheelchair to the cafeteria to eat with family!
This was my favorite day! Hanna really had been a pretty grumpy patient. She hated breathing treatments, fought when we had to do medicine, kept asking to go home, she kept taking off her oxygen, etc... On day 4 (Sat.) Haylee came and spent about an hour at the hosptial. Haylee was exactly the medicine Hanna needed! Hanna immediately started getting better. Her oxygen went up, she smiled, and walked the halls, and laughed with her sister. It was so great to see them together!
This nurse was awesome and let Haylee and Hanna listen to eachother. This day was the most I saw Hanna smile! Wayne and I took turns at the hospital. We had SO much help too! It was like Christmas for Hanna.. People brought in treats and gifts the whole week. They also brought our family meals, and babysat.
Most of the time Hanna wanted Wayne. He was so great to just be there for her and missed a week of work. It was bad timing because he got behind right at the beginning of Tax Season! But he was amazing! At least one of us (Wayne or I) was there every minute of the day. We took turns with the other girls and Hanna.
More precious moments.. After this (on Saturday), they were able to keep the oxygen off of Hanna for the rest of the day and the night... which made it possible for her to go home on Sunday!
Wayne's parent's came down from Gilbert to spend the day. It was fun to see them!
A turn of events...
Back up a couple of days... On friday I took Maci in to the dr. for fever and cough (sound familiar?).. The Dr. said that Maci also had pneumonia and he wanted to check her the next day. On Saturday, she was still sick, but not worse. Well on Sunday... I walked in the room to see Hanna (Haylee and I were dressed for church, and we didn't know if Hanna was going to be released or not!) I brought Maci to be checked by the dr. that was checking Hanna that morning. When I got the hospital, Hanna was smiling and giggling, and Wayne looked so relieved... so I could tell the news was good. Hanna gets to go home! Then the dr. turned to check Maci and as he listened to her and checked her oxygen, he decided Maci needed to be admitted!
Are you kidding me? It was such an overwhelming feeling! Hanna had already been in the hospital for 5 days! So while they prepared Hanna to head home, they hooked Maci up with IV's (she did great too). We made arrangments for my mom to take Hanna home, while I went to YW for my part of the lesson, and Haylee went with Brad and Amber.
Here we are with Hanna happy as can be... and Maci sick and miserable!
Hanna is ready to go home .. and Maci is just getting situated in her bed. We stayed in the same room.. just switched beds.
Maci was a completely different patient than Hanna. She smiled, made faces, talked on the phone to people, was kind to the nurses (said thank you, etc), and took her medicine so great. Everytime a nurse or dr. walked in she would reach for my hand, then she was fine! She was so so sweet!
Wayne had to go back to work this week. He has a lot to catch up on, but he would come whenever he could. I was pretty much at the hospital 24-7 for almost 5 days with Maci. Wayne stayed one night to relieve me. My mother in law came down from Monday to Wednesday also and was a HUGE help with the kids and house! She would come to the hospital so I could go home and shower.. then stay with my girls at home the rest of the time! It was GREAT to have her.
This is Maci's best friend and cousin, Addie! They are trouble when they are together! but they are also so much fun! Addie brought Maci a bucket full of treats. We rolled Maci down to the cafeteria so they could spend some time together!
HOME AT LAST!!
After 5 days in the hospital for each girl.. We were able to come home! It was so so nice to have our whole family under one roof again. It was an exausting week to say the least!! But I have to say I have the greatest appreciation for all my friends and family and ward! I was blown away at the kindness of everyone! We had at least a couple visitors and phone calls everyday... and meals 4 times! I am thankful for eveyone that was so kind and for the prayers!
I am SO thankful for my girls being home! They have recovered fast since we have been here! I think they love being in their own environment! They are the sweetest things and I'm so lucky to be their mom!!! and I'm thankful for a good, supportive husband who loves them as much as I do!! (who we won't see much for the next couple of months... until April 15th!)
P.S. We were home one peaceful night and then last night and today Haylee has been sick and throwing up!! I just keep reminding myself... it won't always be this way!

Last week we went with Wayne's family on a Royal Caribbean cruise! All of the adults went in the family (besides Brad and Amber. He is a 3rd yr. medical student. We missed them!) The cruise was amazing...except for the BUMMER weather. The only days we saw the sun, were the days we got on and off the ship in Florida!... besides that we had a GREAT time and enjoyed our time together so much!!
